8月1日，中国银行董事长葛海蛟在中国银行总行大厦会见来访的澳大利亚福德士河集团执行主席安德鲁·福瑞斯特一行，进一步探索在推动人民币国际化、构建绿色钢铁产业链等领域的合作机会。中国银行副行长武剑参加会谈。
双方一致表示，将在人民币债券、跨境人民币、重点项目融资等领域持续加强互动，共同为促进绿色低碳转型发展、深化中澳双边经贸合作作出更多贡献。
Chairman Ge Haijiao Meets with Dr． Andrew Forrest， the Executive Chairman of Fortescue Ltd
On August 1， Ge Haijiao， Chairman of Bank of China Limited， met with Dr． Andrew Forrest， the Executive Chairman of Fortescue Ltd， at the Bank’s Head Office in Beijing． They discussed further cooperation opportunities in areas including promoting the internationalization of RMB and building a green steel industry chain． Wu Jian， Executive Vice President of Bank of China Limited， also attended the meeting．
Both sides agreed to work more closely on RMB bonds， cross-border RMB use， and project financing， thereby contributing more to the green and low-carbon transition as well as higher-quality China-Australia cooperation on trade and investment．
